Special price (excluding contrast charges which will be at actuals) will be available, if the payment is made on the same day when either of the listed packages are being availed. Appointment For Health Check-Up
  1. We recommend patients to take prior appointment for their Health Check-up. To book your appointment,  kindly call on 1-800-221-166. For any queries, you may mail us on ehc@rfhospital.org
  2. Our operational hours are between 8am and 4pm on all weekdays, excluding Sundays and public holidays.
  3. The Health Check-up department is located on 2nd floor, Tower. Please report there at the appointed time.
  4. We request you to kindly be punctual so that all the tests can be completed without any delay.
  5. Patients reporting an hour or more later than the designated time may have to face delays/rescheduling of appointment.
  6. In case of cancellations or postponements, kindly inform us at least 24 hours in advance.

 

Fasting & Medication
  1. We recommend that you fast for 12 hours prior to your Health Check-up appointment.
  2. You may drink water but not tea/ coffee or any other liquids.
  3. Completely avoid consuming alcohol at least 12 hours prior to the Health Check-up.
  4. If you are on thyroid medication, you may take your morning dose. For BP medication, certain types of pills (e.g. β-blockers) have to be avoided on the day of the check-up. Please confirm with your doctor if your BP medication has to be taken/avoided prior to the Health Check-up.
  5. If you are on diabetes medication, kindly carry your morning dose to the Hospital and you may consume this after your blood is collected. (You should notify your service coordinator on arrival for the health check-up regarding this).
  6. For DEXA, avoid taking calcium supplements 24 hours prior to the check-up.
  7. For Stress test (only for males): Kindly shave the chest prior/ before you come for the health check up.

 

Preparation For Tests, Things To Do
  1. For Eye check-up: Do not wear contact lenses for at least 24 hours before the check-up; use spectacles instead.
  2. For Spirometry: Please avoid smoking 12 hours prior to the check-up and avoid using inhalers on the day of the check-up.
  3. For PAP Smear Test (females): Please note that this test cannot be done during menses (periods).
  4. For Stress Test (males): Kindly shave the chest prior to the health check-up.
  5. For Sonography of Pelvis: You need to drink at least 2 litres of water prior to your check-up (so that the bladder is full for the test).
  6. For Urine and Stool test: Collect your morning urine and stool samples on the day of your health check-up and bring it along. You can collect the containers for the same from the health check-up department in advance, as per your convenience.
  7. In case you are on any medication or have any illness (current or prior), you are advised to bring your previous medical records.
  8. Wear comfortable clothing, footwear and minimum jewellery on the day of the health check-up.

  1. Kindly indicate the name of your company and package at the time of scheduling the appointment.
  2. Please bring along your referral letter/ credit note and employee ID.

  1. Additional investigations and consultations can be provided, subject to appointment availability. These will be billed separately in addition to the package selected by you. if booked same day, discount will be applicable.
  2. Breakfast will be served after the fasting blood sample is collected.
  3. If you are pregnant, kindly inform the health check-up executive at the time of taking appointment.

Special Instructions
  1. Ophthalmology screening consultation included in package entails
    • Detailed medical past history with current complaints
    • Vision check with & without glasses (distant vision)
    • Near vision check
    • Colour vision check
    • Intra Ocular Pressure (IOP) All above pretest by optometrist
    • Doctor checks on slit lamp (anterior segment & posterior segment - undilated retina & for cataract). If you wish to conduct detailed eye check-up, kindly inform the health check¬up team in advance. Detailed eye check if required beyond above will be charged additionally.
  2. Ultrasonography of Pelvis for females involves Intra Vaginal Sonography for the complete examination of the pelvic organs. If you are not comfortable with this, kindly inform the health check-up executives.
  3. Mammography is generally not recommended for women under 40 years of age.
  4. Please be informed that certain tests like X-rays, Mammography and DEXA are not to be done if you are likely to be pregnant.
  5. MRI - if you have had prior surgery/metallic implants (e.g. rods and screws, pacemakers, cochlear implants etc.) please inform the health check-up executive at the time of taking appointment.
  6. The physician consultation will be based on the information given on the Health Questionnaire and the blood & diagnostic investigations done on the day of the health check. Some reports may be in provisional state. If you have any specific concerns / questions & current medications to be discussed with the physician please have it ready.
  7. The consultations included in health check-up for Dental, ENT and Gynaecology are for screening and identifying any speciality specific risk factors.
  8. Please note the Comprehensive package takes 2 days to complete all investigations.
  9. All other packages take 6 to 7 hours for completion of all investigations. Our effort will be towards completion of the packages earlier than the mentioned time frame.
  10. No refund can be given for any test / consultation not performed due to medical reasons or personal choice for any health check package. There will be no interchange of any other test against the test not performed.

 

Afternoon Executive Health Check-Up

Health Check-up is now more convenient. We offer Afternoon Executive Health Check-up, you don't need to report early morning and fasting to the hospital. We will get your blood samples collected from home. You can arrive for the remaining test and consultation between 12 noon to 1:00 pm on a pre-booked date.

Note:
  1. Appointment once booked can only be changed 24 hours prior.
  2. The new appointments should be within 7 days of home sample collection.
  3. Afternoon slots are not possible for the Comprehensive package.
  4. Afternoon slots are presently available from Monday to Thursday.
  5. Check up duration will be 4-5 hours based on the packages selected.
