Dr. Vinayak Nikam is Senior Consultant in Liver Transplant and HPB Surgery at Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital. He has completed his MS (General Surgery) from Seth GS Medical College and KEM Hospital, Mumbai, DNB (Surgical Gastroenterology) from Sir Ganga Ram Hospital, New Delhi and Fellowship in Liver Transplantation Surgery from Medanta-The Medicity, Gurugram.
He has earlier worked as Consultant in the Department of HPB Surgery & Liver Transplantation at Global Hospital, Mumbai, and Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital, Mumbai.
He has more than 10 years of experience in the field of Liver Transplantation and Surgical Gastroenterology. His other area of interest is in advancing the field of minimally invasive HPB surgery both laparoscopic and robotic. He has authored many articles published in international peer-reviewed journals. He has presented his research papers at many national and international conferences. He is a peer reviewer of many international journals.
