Dr. Mehul S. Bhansali is a Consultant in the Department of Surgical Oncology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After completing MBBS and MS (General Surgery), Dr. Bhansali completed DNB (Surgical Oncology). Then, Dr. Bhansali underwent fellowship in Esophageal Cancer at Department of Surgery, Kurume University School of Medicine, Japan and in Esophageal and Gastro-intestinal Surgery at Queen Mary Hospital, University of Hongkong.
Dr. Bhansali has a vast experience of 27 years in the field of Surgical Oncology. Prior to his association with our hospital, he was a practicing Surgical Oncologist in private sector and was also an honorary Professor of Surgical Oncology at the Cama & Albless Hospital (Sir J. J. Group of Hospitals) in Mumbai since 1997. Earlier, he was a Consultant Surgical Oncologist at Tata Memorial Hospital in Mumbai from 1988 to 1996.
Dr. Bhansali has published several peer-reviewed publications in national and international journals. He is a member of Surgical Oncology Society of India and the Office-bearer in Mumbai Oncology Association.
