Dr. Amish Dalal is a Consultant Surgical Oncologist in the department of Surgical Oncology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr. Amish Dalal has trained extensively in surgical oncology at the Tata Memorial Cancer Hospital, gaining experience in head and neck cancers as a clinical fellow and as a research fellow with the Genitourinary and Gynaecological Oncology unit. As a UICC – ICRETT fellow, he trained at the Indiana University Medical Centre, Mayo Clinic in Rochester (Minnesota) and University of Southern California- Kenneth Norris Cancer Centre in laparoscopic surgery. He worked as a tutor of Surgery, University of Liverpool and Royal Liverpool University hospital undertaking breast cancer surgeries and breast reconstructive surgeries, completing his FRCS in 1996.
Dr. Dalal has been involved in the management of cancer patients since 1986. He is adept in the management of all types of solid tumours. He has a special interest in breast, gynaecologic, colorectal and urologic cancers. He has received basic and advanced training in Seoul, South Korea at the Asan Medical centre and the Yonsei Cancer Centre in Robotic surgery using 3rd generation robotic systems. He has authored 22 research articles national and international peer reviewed Journals and holds memberships to Association of Gynaecologic Oncologist of India (AGOI), Society of Gynaecologic Oncology (SGO), Indian Association of Surgical Oncology and the Mumbai Oncology Association.
