Dr Somesh Lala is a Consultant Radiologist at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After completing his MBBS, Dr. Somesh Lala completed his DMRD from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal. Thereafter, he finished his DNB in Radiology from Bombay Hospital, Mumbai. He submitted his dissertation in the “Role of Computed Tomography and Digital Subtraction Angiography in subarachnoid hemorrhage” to the National Board of Examination, New Delhi.
He has been Head of Sonography department at Bombay Hospital and has also been associated with several reputed hospitals and Imaging Centers in Mumbai in the capacity of a Radiologist.
Dr. Somesh has worked in the United States (New York, New Jersey and Cleveland) in the department of Ultrasound, CT scan, Mammography, Endoscopic Ultrasound and Bone mineral densitometry.
He has attended several conferences, workshops and CMEs and delivered many lectures in his field of expertise. He wrote a chapter on Doppler ultra-sound abdomen and chaired a session in Ob-Gyn conference at College of Physicians and Surgeons on 3D/4D ultra-sound and fetal echocardiography.
Dr. Somesh Lala has been President of Worli Medical Association and conducted several CMEs and Health Camps.
