Dr. Karthik Ganesan is a Consultant Radiologist and the Division Chief for Body Imaging at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Post the completion of MBBS and DNB, Dr. Ganesan successfully accomplished Fellowship in MRI and Fellowship in Body Imaging (Advanced Liver Imaging) from the University of California, San Diego (UCSD).
Dr. Ganesan has a rich experience spanning 10 years and is the recipient of several scholarships including the Amar Gandhi Scholarship for Best Clinical Associate in Jaslok Hospital and Research Center (2006-2007) and J. N. Tata Endowment Scholarship (2007-2008). He has also received the Hargobind Foundation Medical Fellowship (2007-2008).
He has 20 Peer Reviewed / Index Publications and 4 Peer Reviewed Scientific Abstracts to his credit, along with 22 Peer Reviewed Educational Exhibits / Posters. Dr. Ganesan was also awarded the Best Poster award by the Society of Abdominal Imaging in 2013. With 1 Cum Laude (ECR 2009) and 5 Certificate of Merit awards (RSNA), he surely has had a meritorious career.
Additionally, Dr. Ganesan is the Co-Author of Hepatic Iron Overload In Abdominal Imaging (Sahani DV, Samir AE). He has also authored 2 chapters in Cross-Sectional Imaging of Abdomen and Pelvis by Springer Publications (currently in print).
