Dr. Bharat Dalvi is Consultant in the Department of Paediatric Cardiac Sciences at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

His area of interest is Paediatric Cardiology with an expertise in echocardiographic imaging and non-surgical cardiac interventions such as ASD, VSD and PDA device closures; balloon pulmonary and aortic valvuloplasties and dilatation and stenting of Coaractation of aorta.

He was trained in Paediatric Cardiology at Children’s Hospital, Boston, The Hospital for Sick Children, Great Ormond Street, London and Cleveland Clinic, USA. He has pioneered the technique of closing very large ASDs using balloon assistance. He has been on the forefront of Transcatheter interventions in neonates and infants.

He is International Medical Scholar of the ECFMG (1993), PN Berry Scholar (1994), Fulbright Scholar (1997) and Cleveland Clinic International Scholar (1997).

He is also attached to several prestigious institutes of Mumbai.

He has more than 100 publications in national and international journals and more than 100 abstract presentations to his credit.

Also, he has delivered more than 60 guest lectures at multiple national and international conferences. Invited faculty at National and International symposia and Workshops.

He was President of Paediatric Cardiac Society of India (2008 -2009).

He was Editor-in-Chief of Journal Annals of Paediatric Cardiology (2008 – 2010).
