Dr. Shrinand V. Vaidya is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon with the Orthopaedic department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr. Shrinand Vaidya graduated from T.N. Medical College, University of Bombay with M.B.B.S in 1980 and MS (Orthopaedics) in 1985 followed by F.A.C.S from American College of Surgeons, Chicago, USA in 2001. He underwent training at the Joint Replacement Surgery at Ranawat Orthopaedic Foundation, USA, 1998 and was a visiting fellow at the Royal London University Hospital, UK, in 1993.
Currently a Professor of Orthopaedics, King Edward Medical Memorial Hospital and College, Dr. Vaidya has 72 publications to his credit. He was a part of the surgical team that operated on Late Prime minister Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee for total Knee replacement.
He is currently on the editorial panel for Journal of Arthroplasty, Journal of Orthopaedic Surgeons and Postgraduate journal of Medicine. He was the past president of Indian Society of Hip and Knee Surgeons and is the acting Director of Indian Joint replacement Registry, Northgate, U.K. As a Subject expert he has delivered more than 100 talks across the country.
