Dr. Arjun Dhawale is a Consultant Spine Surgeon in the Orthopaedic Surgery department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. He completed his MBBS followed by MS (Orthopaedics), DNB (Orthopaedics), and MRCSEd. Thereafter, he has completed Fellowships in Adult & Paediatric Spine Surgery from Jackson Memorial Hospital & University of Miami Hospital, University of Miami, USA; Paediatric Orthopaedics & Spine from BC Children’s Hospital, Vancouver, University of British Columbia, Canada and Nemours DuPont Hospital, Wilmington, Thomas Jefferson University, USA.

His experience spans a period of twenty years at reputed institutions in India and North America (3 years) after completing Orthopaedic residency from Bombay Hospital Institute of Medical Sciences, Mumbai University. He has more than 35 international peer-reviewed publications in high impact journals like The Spine Journal, Spine, Spine Deformity and Journal of Bone and Joint Surgery and more than 50 national and international scientific presentations. He is a peer reviewer for many reputed journals. He is a Member of Scoliosis Research Society, SICOT, Indian Orthopaedic Association, Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, Association of Spine Surgeons of India, North American Spine Society, AO Spine and Paediatric Orthopaedic Society of India. He is also the recipient of Japanese Orthopaedic Association JOA-JOTF Travelling Fellowship. He is faculty for the MUHS Spine fellowship and DNB Orthopaedics program at our hospital.
