Dr. Bindu Yadav is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Ophthalmology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Center.

Dr. Yadav has a rich experience of nearly 19 years in the field of Ophthalmology. Earlier, she worked at Sir JJ Hospital, Mumbai, Dr. Giridhar’s multispeciality Eye Hospital, Kochi, Aditya Jyot (now known as Dr. Agrawal’s Eye Hospital) Mumbai as a senior consultant and surgeon at Bombay City Eye Institute and Research Centre (ASG eye hosp.) for many years.

She specializes in Cataract, Cornea, and Refractive surgery.

She has vast surgical experience in :

• Femtolaser-assisted cataract surgery /bladeless /robotic cataract surgery(FLACS),
• MICS cataract surgery, refractive cataract surgery with premium lenses like Aspheric, Toric, Multifocal, Extended depth of focus IOLs, Trifocal and ERV IOLs which give a wide range of vision after cataract surgery
• Phakic IOLs, Refractive/Clear Lens
• Exchange(RLE), LASIK, SMILE, and PRK for spectacle-free vision
• DRY EYES

Corneal diseases like keratoconus and other ectasias, corneal ulcers, Corneal scars, Corneal Collagen Crosslinking, and corneal surgeries like PKP, LVC,DSEAK,DMEK, DALK

She has also conducted clinical trials of the newer intraocular lenses and its technology

She has worked on various studies conducted by the institutes she was attached to.

She has done studies on the outcomes of cataract surgeries, and new technologies of cataract surgery and has presented papers at conferences

She is actively involved in academics and has taught many upcoming young ophthalmic surgeons. Also, she has given various lectures related to teaching programs participated as an instructor in surgical skill transfer programs at conferences, and has been part of sessions/ instruction courses at various national and international conferences.

She is a Life member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery Cornea Society of INDIA Indian Society of Cataract and Keratorefractive Surgery All India Ophthalmological Society, Maharashtra Ophthalmological Society, and Bombay Ophthalmic Association, Delhi Ophthalmological Society, Kerala Society of Ophthalmic Surgeons.
