Dr. Mary Anne is a Specialist Physician who specializes in Molecular imaging in PET and SPECT and hybrid PET-CT and SPECT-CT imaging, whose repertoire also includes radionuclide therapy.
She completed her post-graduation in Nuclear Medicine from Apollo Hospitals, Chennai with further training in PET-MRI from University of Tubingen, Germany and is a certified Radiation Safety Officer for Nuclear Medicine.
Her special interests include molecular imaging of infection & inflammation, oncology and neurology with various radiopharmaceuticals and targeted radionuclide therapy – “Theranostics”. She is an “expert of choice” reviewer for vasculitis, infection, oncology, neurodegenerative and epilepsy nuclear imaging studies and also serves an expert auditor oncological nuclear medicine studies.
Prior to joining Sir H.N. Reliance Foundation Hospital, Dr. Joseph headed the Nuclear Medicine & PET-CT at Fortis Hospitals, Mumbai.
She has authored chapters in textbooks, and has presented papers at national and international forums.
