Detail Profile: Dr. Jacob Cherian completed his MBBS from Kasturba Medical College, Manipal and went on to pursue his MD in Internal Medicine from Christian Medical College, Ludhiana two of the most well-known and reputed medical colleges in India.

Prior to joining Sir HN Reliance Hospital he has worked at the illustrious Sir Gangaram Hospital, New Delhi, Nanavati Max Superspeciality Hospital, Mumbai and Holy Family Hospital, Mumbai. He was on the Editorial Board of Sir Gangagram Hospital, New Delhi annual update and newsletters.

He was integral in establishing the Department of Geriatric Medicine at Holy Family Hospital, Mumbai and was also the Incharge of their Casualty and Emergency Department.

He also has multiple certifications from various medical societies in India and abroad like PHFI and BMJ-RCP(UK) in comprehensive diabetes management and 

diabetes management in pregnancy and special populations. 

His special interests lie in preventive healthcare, infectious diseases, geriatric medicine and acute medicine.
