Dr. Sameer Gaggar is a Consultant with the Gastroenterology department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Post the completion of his MBBS and MD in Medicine from Mumbai, Dr. Gaggar achieved MRCP Internal Medicine, MRCP Gastroenterology and CCT Gastroenterology from UK. He has trained extensively in UK and has worked there in Gastroenterology and Hepatology for 11 years. He has worked at the Liver Transplant Centre in Newcastle Upon Tyne, United Kingdom and also holds a JAG Accreditation for endoscopic procedures.
An experienced therapeutic endoscopist, Dr. Gaggar is proficient in procedures such as polypectomies, EMR, GI stenting, PEGS, balloon dilatation, variceal banding and treatment of GI bleeds.
Dr. Gaggar has several International and National Publications, Abstracts and Audits to his credit and is also the recipient of the First prize in the Annual Medicine (MD Medicine) Thesis Competition.
