Dr. Nishit J Shah is a Consultant with the ENT department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre
After completing his MBBS, and MS(ENT) from Nair hospital in Mumbai, Dr Shah worked as Clinical Lecturer at KEM hospital in Mumbai for a further 4 years. During this time he visited several centres in Europe and the US to fine tune his surgical skills. He also did his DORL (gold medal) and DNB before stepping into private practice.
Apart from his expertise in endoscopic sinus surgery, Dr Nishit Shah has been the pioneer in the use of the endoscope for skull base surgery and has organized workshops in endoscopic skull base surgeries since 2004 which have benefited hundreds of ENT surgeons across the country. He has been an invited faculty at over 300 workshops in India and over 30 international meetings across the world and has delivered various prestigious orations in India and abroad.
He has written 3 books in ENT and has multiple book chapters and published articles in his name. Dr Shah is also a Reviewer for multiple acclaimed journals.
He was the Head and coordinator of the DNB (ENT) program at Bombay Hospital from 2005 till 2017. He was president of the Association of Otolaryngologists of India (Mumbai branch) in 2001 and President of the All India Rhinology Society in 2011.
