Dr. Mehul. S. Shah Is A Chief Intensivist In The Critical Care Medicine Of Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital And Research Centre.
Post Completion of MBBS & MNAMS, Dr. Shah pursued His residency In Anaesthesia at Lok-maniya Tilak Hospital, Mumbai where he trained in anaesthesia as well as trauma intensive care. Thereafter he successfully accomplished the following fellowships: fellowship in anaesthesiology by national board of examinations, New Delhi, fellowship in critical care medicine by national board of examinations, New Delhi; fellowship in the Indian society of critical care medicine;
Dr. Shah has extensive national/ international experience in multi-speciality intensive care unit encompassing transplant, trauma, oncology, neuro intensive care and various other subspecialties of intensive care medicine over years. He has spent nearly 100% of this time in intensive care since 2006. He has also received advanced training in heart and lung transplant units, ECMO and ventricular assist devices in Australia. At H. N. Reliance foundation hospital he is an integral part of the heart lung transplant and mechanical circulatory device team.
He is a trained and a qualified instructor by the American heart association for advanced and basic cardiac life support. He is a provider for advanced trauma life support accredited to American society of surgeons. His other trainings include ‘fundamental of disaster management’ and ‘ultrasound and echo in intensive care’.
Dr. Shah Has Worked In Intensive Care At Various Reputed Institutes Like; St. Vincent’s Hospital, Sydney; Westmead Hospital, Sydney; Jaslok Hospital, Mumbai; TATA Memorial Hospital; Mumbai, Bombay Hospital, Mumbai. He Was A Key Player In Shifting And Restructuring Intensive Care Units At Sir Harkisondas Narrutamdas Hospital.
Dr Shah Is A Guide And Teacher In Emergency Medicine And Critical Care Medicine For The National Board Of Examinations New Delhi, India. He has organised, participated as a faculty at many in many National and International Conferences. He also has been a Principal Investigator for many Studies and Trials.
