Dr. Brian Pinto is a consultant in the department of Cardiology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

Dr. Brian Pinto completed his MD (Gen. Medicine) and, thereafter, successfully pursued his FACC and FSCAI. His academic accomplishments comprise of the A.L. Nair Prize for First in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the 3rd MBBS Exam, Gopinath Prize for First in Gynecology and Obstetrics at the 3rdMBBS Exam, Distinction in Surgery at the 3rd MBBS Exam, Post Graduate Scholarship, William O’Neill Award for Excellence in Cardiology & Medical Education and Live Case demonstrations in CSI and India. He is a pioneer of Trans-Radial Interventions and Rotational Atherectomy in India. He is attached with several reputed hospitals of Mumbai.

Dr. Brian Pinto specializes in Proctor for Rotational Atherectomy and FFR, Pioneer for Trans-Radial Interventions in India, Device Closures of Patent Ductus Arteriosis with Atrial Septal Defect, Series of Rotational Atherectomy cases, Series of Direct Stenting Cases, Series of Fox-Hollow (Silver Hawk) Atherectomy Device for Peripheral Intervention. He has performed more than 18,000 Coronary, Peripheral Interventions and more than 10,000 Trans-Radial procedures

Dr. Pinto is teacher for DNB Cardiology since 2007 and was a lecturer in Cardiology at K.E.M. Hospital in 1987.

Dr. Pinto is the author of several research papers and publications in the field of interventional cardiology and has participated in multiple trials and registries. He regularly conducts and attends seminars and conferences in his field of expertise and specialization.

He is a member of the Cardiology Society of India, Association of Physicians of India, Fellow American College of Cardiology and Fellow Society of Cardiovascular Angiography and Intervention.
