Dr. Arjun Ahuja is a Consultant with Ophthalmology department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr. Arjun Ahuja completed his MBBS (1979) from TN Medical College & Nair Hospital, Mumbai with a distinction in Medicine. He continue with a DOMS followed by MS (Ophthalmology) and is a Gold medallist from TN Medical College & Nair Hospital (1984). In 2012, he completed MCh. from University of Seychelles securing first rank.
In a career spanning more than three decades Dr. Arjun S Ahuja has worked in various capacities at many prominent city hospitals including KEM and Sion. He is currently Professor Emeritus, Department of Ophthalmology at the Seth G.S. Medical College and KEM Hospital, has trained 200 postgraduates and 5000 undergraduates during his academic career and is also an examiner for UG and PG exams. He is also an Inspector for Medical council of India and a subject expert in ophthalmology on FDA panel.
Dr. Ahuja has been an office bearer for Bombay ophthalmologist Association from 2005 – 2010 and holds life memberships of All India ophthalmic society, Maharashtra ophthalmic society, All India Oculoplasty Society, Ophthalmic views & News and IMA. He received “the Lachman Kriplani Memorial life time Achievement Award” for his contribution to the field of Ophthalmology.
