Dr. Manish Chhabria is consultant with the Neurology department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
He has completed his DNB in General Medicine & then DNB in Neurology from P. D. Hinduja National Hospital & Medical Research Centre, Mumbai. During his initial years, he has worked there as Clinical Assistant, Junior Clinical Assistant and Registrar for almost 7 years.
He has also worked in PICU for 6 months at B. J. Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai. He was a Clinical Associate in Centre of Excellence for Brain & Nervous System at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital & Medical Research Institute, Mumbai.
Dr. Chhabria has several scientific papers, chapter to his credit and has many publications in national and international journals, books and newspapers. Some of his research studies include being Co-investigator in DECIDE multinational RCT (2010-2013)of Daclizumab vs Interferon in RRMS. He had been certified to administer the Kurtzke Expanded Disability Status Scale (EDSS) for examining Multiple Sclerosis (MS) patients.; “A Profile of Anemia in CKD” (2009); “Pattern of Atherosclerosis in Ischemic Stroke in Indian Population” (2012). He is an instructor for Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS), accredited by American Heart Association (AHA).
Dr. Manish has presented several award winning papers & presentations over the years in Neurology conferences & meetings. He has been awarded Best Neurology Paper Award – Annual Conference BNA; 2nd Runner up Prize – 21st IANCON – Indore; 1st Runner up Prize – TYSA 2012-13 West zone, India. He has also contributed in the book, Practical Methods in Clinical Medicine, published in 2010.
He is active member of International Parkinson Diseases and Movement Disorder Society (IPMDS), USA; Indian Academy of Neurology and Parkinson Disease and Movement Disorder Society, India & several other societies.
