Dr Snehal Sanghavi is Mentor with the Internal Medicine department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After his MBBS, Dr Sanghavi completed MD in Internal Medicine. He has a rich experience as an Internist and Clinical Cardiologist spanning more than 39 years.
Besides his association with our hospital, Dr Sanghavi is also Senior Honorary Consulting Physician at Saifee and Bhatia Hospital. In the past, he has rendered his services at numerous other institutions including Jaslok Hospital, G.T. Hospital and Dalvi Hospital. He has also worked at the Jersey Medical Center, USA in 1977.
Dr Sanghavi has a vast teaching experience of more than 39 years. He has taught students at Grant Medical College and G.S. Medical College. He has been a post-graduate teacher for MD (Internal Medicine) at Bombay University and is a recognised teacher by NBE (National Board) for DNB in Internal Medicine. Dr Sanghavi is also a teacher for Diploma in Diabetes Mellitus (CPS-recognised) at Saifee hospital and a recognised teacher by NBE for DNB in Family Medicine at Saifee hospital.
In the past, Dr Sanghavi has served as an Honorary Physician to the Governor of Maharashtra for more than 15 years. He has also been a frequent examiner for the subject of Medicine for MBBS and Convenor and examiner for MD (Internal Medicine) at Bombay University. He was selected by the Rotary Club of Bombay (South) for GSE programme to California in March 1977.
Dr Sanghavi has numerous research papers to his credit and is affiliated with various reputed organisations including: Life Member of Association of Physician of India, Life Member of Cardiological Society of India, Life Member of Indo-American Society and AAA, Member of Rotary Club of Bombay Sea-face, Associate Fellow of Indian Society of Cardiology, Life member of A, C and D Ward Medical Association of Mumbai, Life Member of Indian Medical Association and Association of Medical Consultant. He was also the Secretary for Cardiological Society of India, Bombay chapter (1982-1983) during which he organised various scientific meetings. Subsequently, he became the Vice President of CSI Bombay Chapter.
Besides participating in numerous national as well as international conferences, Dr Sanghavi has conducted many CMEs for training family physicians all across Mumbai.
