Dr. Preeti Chhabria is a Consultant and Director at the Internal Medicine department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
She has obtained her MBBS from Bombay University and then MD degree from Rush University, Chicago, USA. She subsequently did a Mini Fellowship in Lipid Disorders from American Heart Association and Gladstone Institute University of California, San Francisco.
Prior to joining our hospital, Dr. Chhabria has been a consultant with Hinduja Hospital and Research Center, Mumbai where she founded and headed the Lipid Speciality Clinic and Geriatric Speciality Clinic. She was a Senior Physician and Partner at the prestigious Permanente Medical Group (TPMG) San Francisco Bay Area, California, and USA for more than 15 years.
Her professional achievements include TPMG Medicine Department Quality Award in 2004-2006 and Outstanding Resident Award, recognising clinical excellence and Outstanding Clinical Teaching Excellence Award 1998-99. She has constantly been involved in teaching residents and medical students.
She is a member of the American College of Physicians
Dr. Preeti Chhabria has presented at various geriatric forums. Her publications include the RB Quarterly Medical review, on Medical Nutrition in Geriatric Health Care, Vol. 69, and No.1 January – March 2018
