Dr. Mangesh G. Patil is a consultant at the Department of Renal Sciences, Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Centre.

Dr. Mangesh Patil perused his DNB from PD Hinduja hospital (2008) after completing MS (General Surgery) from GMCH, Nagpur. He trained at the Rosewell Park Cancer Institute, New York in Robotic surgery. He has till date performed 290 robotic surgeries including Prostatectomies, Nephrectomies, Cystectomies and Radial Hysterectomies. He also specialises in Laser TURPs and Renal transplantation.

Dr. Mangesh Patil has held various positions such as registrar general surgery, clinical associate and has been a part of many institutions. He till date serves as a consultant to many renowned hospitals such as the Breach Candy and Fortis. He has received numerous awards for his work including the Asia Pacific International Award for Health Excellence -2014.

Dr. Mangesh Patil has performed more than 6000 urological procedures till date and is actively involved in Endo-urology, Laparoscopic and keyhole surgeries related to Prostate, Kidney and Urinary bladder.

Dr. Mangesh is also an experienced Robotic Uro-Onco surgeon and has performed more than 1200 Robotic assisted surgeries until date. He specializes in Robotic assisted surgeries until date. He specialises in Robotic surgeries for Prostate and Renal cancers. He is an officer proctor for Intuitive surgical, USA.

Dr. Mangesh Patil is a life-member of bodies such as Urological society of India, IMA, National Academy of Medical Sciences, and Association of Medical Consultants. As a subject expert he has delivered many talks as an invited faculty and speaker in many training workshops and conferences.

He has published over 30 articles and presented his work in national and international conferences.
