Dr. Madhav Kamat is a Consultant with the Urology department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. He is also Consultant Urologist at several prominent hospitals in Mumbai.
Dr. Kamat has been Chairman and Professor, Dept. of Urology at Grant Medical College and J.J. group of Hospitals, Mumbai. He has also been Asstt. Professor of Urology at New Jersey College of Medicine. He was appointed as Senior Consultant Urologist on Panel of Indian Airlines/Air India from 1997- 2001. He was appointed as Urologist to the Governor of Maharashtra. He was the President of the Urological Society of India from 2001-2002.
He is a pioneer in the field of renal transplants in India and was appointed by the Maharashtra Government on the Committee to frame rules for Maharashtra Kidney Transplantation Act of 1982.

Dr. Kamat has published a book on “Management of Urological problems ion General practise” and has several publications, articles and lectures to his name. He has also conducted workshops on “Endoscopic Surgery for Prostate and Kidney Transplantation.
