Dr. Ravindra Ramadwar is a Consultant Paediatric Surgeon at the Paediatric Surgery department of Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After completing his MBBS and MS, Dr. Ramadwar completed his DNB in General Surgery. Subsequently, he successfully pursued his M.Ch. & DNB in Paediatric Surgery and went to finish his FRCS in Paediatric Surgery in UK. Apart from our hospital, he is also attached to many prominent hospitals in Mumbai.
His areas of special interest lie in Laparoscopic surgery, Hypospadias, Neonatal Surgery, Paediatric Urology and Oncosurgery.
Dr. Ramadwar is the first in India to perform many procedures like retroperitoneoscopic pyeloplasty in infants, total laparoscopic management of choledochal cyst, laparoscopic cortical sparing adrenalectomy, thoracoscopic lobectomy in neonates, laparoscopic oesophageal replacement, SILS laparoscopic fundoplication and SILS liver cyst excision etc.
He has performed a number of clinical studies and audits in India as well as in UK. These have been presented in National and International meetings and a number of them have been published in reputed journals.

He has been Past Chairman Paediatric Endoscopic Surgeons of India, Past Secretary Paediatric Endoscopic Surgeons of India, Ex-Executive member, Indian Association of Paediatric Surgeons and Paediatric Urology Chapter IAPS and Committee member of IPEG membership committee.
