Dr. Rahul Verma is Consultant & Head, Neonatology department and Consultant with the Paediatrics department of Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
He completed his MBBS from the University of Mumbai and then acquired a Diploma in Child Health (DCH) from the College of Physicians and Surgeons, Mumbai. Thereafter, he successfully pursued his MD (Paediatrics) from Mumbai University. He further went to complete his MRCP (Paediatrics) from the Royal College of Physicians in UK.
Dr. Verma is a leading Paediatrician and Neonatologist in Mumbai. He has been Consultant and Head Dept. of Neonatology and Consultant in Pediatrics at Bombay Hospital for several years. Prior to this he has been Head of Neonatology with Wockhardt and Seven Hills Hospitals in Mumbai.
Dr. Rahul Verma has several dissertations and publications to his credit, both in national and international forums. He has also been teacher and guide for DCH (College of Physicians and Surgeons) as well as for DNB (National Board of Examinations) at Holy Spirit Hospital.
He is a Life member of the National Neonatology Forum of India, Life member of Mumbai Branch of Indian academy of Pediatrics, Visiting Scholar - Babies and Children’s Hospital, Columbia Presbyterian Group of Hospitals, New York, USA, Visiting Fellow - Regional Neonatal Referral Unit, Kings College Hospital, London, UK, Joint Secretary and Treasurer of Maharashtra Chapter NNF, Joint Secretary of NNF Mumbai - currently Executive Committee Member, Secretary NNF Mumbai, Secretary - Neonatology Forum Mumbai and Vice President Neonatology Forum, Mumbai.
