Dr. Pooja Deshmukkh is a Consultant with Ophthalmology department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre. She is a gold medallist in MS Ophthalmology from DY Patil Medical College and Research Centre.
She has Phacoemulsification Training from Mahatme Eye Institute, Nagpur; Lasik Training from DEI, Mumbai; and Fellowship in Oculoplasty & Ocular Oncology, Aesthetics from LVPEI, Hyderabad.
Dr. Deshmukkh is an active member of Bombay Ophthalmic Association (BOA), All India Ophthalmological Society (AIOS) & Delhi Ophthalmic Society (DOS).
She has also worked as an Assistant Professor at IGGMCH & Mayo Hospital as an Anterior Segment Surgeon.
She has received award for best paper at IGGMCH & Mayo Hospital, Nagpur for ‘PMMA Implant in Non-Penetrating Glaucoma Surgery’ & at MOSCON Aurangabad in 2008 for ‘Orbital Mass’.
