Dr (Mrs) Asha R. Dalal is a Mentor in the Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

After completing MBBS wherein she was awarded a gold medal in Obstetrics & Gynaecology in the final year, she pursued DGO. This was followed by MD wherein she ranked first at the examination. Dr Dalal has received training in Advanced Endoscopic Surgery under Dr Harry Reich Wyoming Valley Gyn. Obs. Ass., 480 Pierce St., Kingston, Pennsylvania, 18704 USA. She has also done a Postgraduate course in Advanced Colposcopy, Diagnostic & Operative Hysteroscopy, Urogynaecology, Operative Laparoscopy including Preceptorship & Animal Lab conducted by The Graduate Hospital, Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, 19146 USA and Advanced Endoscopic Surgery & Infertility at The New England Medical Centre Tufts University School of Medicine, Boston MA, 02111 USA. She was trained in Ultrasonography at Sir H. N. Hospital, Mumbai.

Dr Dalal is Professor & Head of Department of Obstetrics & Gynaecology at T. N. Medical College and B. Y. L. Nair Charitable Hospital, Mumbai for the last 14 years. She has been a faculty at B. Y. L. Nair Charitable Hospital since 1982.

She is a Fellow of the Indian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologists (FICOG), and a Member of the Academy of Medical Sciences (MAMS). She has several publications in National and International Journals and has been an Invited speaker at several local, State, National & International Conferences. Additionally, she has organized several International Endoscopy Workshops as well as conducted workshops in Basic Endoscopy, IUI & Colposcopy.

Currently, Dr Dalal is the President of the Association of Maharashtra Obstetrics and Gynaecological Societies (AMOGS), 2014-2016.

She has been Principal Investigator for the NACO-UNICEF program of Prevention of Parent to Child Transmission of HIV (PPTCT), Ad Hoc Chairman of the Board of Studies (OB/GYN.), Mumbai University, National Editor of the Journal of OB/GYN. of India (2011-2014), Ex Member of Managing Committee of Mumbai OB/GYN. Society (MOGS) and Ex Member of Managing Committee of Indian Association of Gynaecological Endoscopists (IAGE).
