Dr. Trimurti D. Nadkarni is a Consultant with the Neurosurgery department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
He has completed MBBS, MS (General Surgery), M.Ch. (Neurosurgery) and has Fellowship from Barrow Neurological Institute, Phoenix, Arizona, USA.
Dr. Nadkarni has a rich experience of 23 years. He is a Professor in The Department of Neurosurgery, K.E.M. Hospital and Seth G.S. Medical College, Mumbai. He has been Member of the Department since 1991.
Dr. Nadkarni has excised a brain tumour weighing 1380 grams, amongst the largest of brain tumours successfully operated upon in literature.
He is a recognised Post-Graduate Teacher & Examiner for Maharashtra University of Health Sciences (MUHS), Nashik for the Master of Chirurgiae (M.Ch.) degree in Neurosurgery. He has been involved in teaching and training of several Neurosurgery postgraduate students.
Dr. Nadkarni has more than 100 publications in peer-reviewed national and international journals including several book chapters in Neurosurgery textbooks. He is a member of numerous National and International societies of sub-specialities in Neurosurgery including Asian Congress of Neurosurgical Surgeons, The International Society of Paediatric Neurosurgery, Neurological Society of India, and Congress of Neurological Surgeons amongst others.
Dr. Nadkarni is an associate editor of International Journal of Neurosurgery & Neurology.
