Dr Rushi Deshpande is a Consultant Nephrologist and Renal Transplant Physician with the Nephrology department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After his MBBS and MD, Dr Deshpande completed DNB (Nephrology) in 2002 and (DM Nephrology) in 2003. Thereafter, he trained as Fellow in Nephrology at University of Toronto, Ontario, Canada for two years and in Kidney Transplantation for one year in a programme accredited to American Society of Transplantation, Toronto, Canada.
He has been working as a Consultant in Nephrology and Kidney Transplantation in Mumbai since 2006.
Dr Deshpande was awarded a Gold Medal in Pharmacology from Dr BAM University, Aurangabad and ranked first in the University in second year MBBS. He is also a recipient of a Gold Medal in DNB (Nephrology) awarded by Dr APJ Abdul Kalam, Hon. President of India at that time.
Dr Deshpande has presented multiple papers at National and International conferences and has several publications in peer-reviewed journals to his credit.
