Dr. Ruchi Parikh graduated from Grant Medical College, Sir J.J. Hospital, Mumbai, Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, and Maharashtra completing her MBBS in 2004. She successfully completed her D.N.B. (Paediatrics) training at Lilavati Hospital and Research Centre, Mumbai in June 2010. She trained in Paediatric Endocrinology as a fellow of Indian Academy of Paediatrics under the Paediatric Endocrinology fellowship during 2013-14, at Bai Jerbai Wadia Hospital for Children, Mumbai and as a Paediatric Endocrinology Clinical fellow of European Society in Department of Paediatric Endocrinology, Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, Liverpool, United Kingdom.
Dr. Parikh is an Executive Member of Indian Society for Pediatric & Adolescent Endocrinology (ISPAE) and was on the Writing Committee for “New-born Screening Guidelines for Congenital Hypothyroidism in India: Recommendations of the Indian Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology”. She holds memberships of Indian Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Endocrinology (ISPAE), International Society for Paediatric and Adolescent Diabetes (ISPAD), Asia Pacific Paediatric Endocrine Society (APPES), Growth Hormone Research Society (GHRS), Indian Academy of Paediatrics (IAP) and Indian Medical Association (IMA). As a subject expert, she has been a part of several conferences and has authored 7 publications and has co-authored more than 15 conference papers.
