Dr. Nina Madnani is a Consultant Dermatologist, Venereologist, Leprologist and Cosmetologist at the Dermatology department of Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

She did her MD in Skin Diseases from the Lokmanya Tilak Memorial Medical College and Sion Hospital (Bombay University) and ranked first in MD in 1982. She started practice as a consultant dermatologist in 1983.

Dr Madnani has done several Fellowships: Dr Groot, Edmonton; Dr Kent Heinz, Lethbridge, Canada; Dr Jeya Prakash, London; Dr Anthony du Vivier, Kings College, London.

She has been a Consultant at P.D. Hinduja National Hospital for 24 years and is also a Trainer for Botox and Fillers for the last 10 years. She established the first Vulvar Clinic in India. She is the only Fellow of the International Society for the Study of Vulvar Diseases in India.

Dr Madnani has been honoured as the Best Practicing Dermatologist (Maharashtra) three times so far by the IADVL, Maharashtra branch. Besides this, she is also the recipient of the ‘Best Poster Award’ at IADVL National Conference and of ‘Oration’ by Goa Dermatology Association.

She is the Speaker and Chairperson for the World Congress of Dermatology, 2015, Vancouver. Additionally, she is a Member of the Indian Acne Alliance, which has drafted guidelines on Acne management in India. She also lends her expertise as the Course Director of ISLDA (International School of Lasers Dermatology, and Aesthetics).

Apart from being the reviewer for 3 peer-reviewed dermatology journals (IJDVL, IJD, JACSI), Dr Madnani has contributed to various textbooks. These include the IJDVL Textbook of Dermatology, Atlas of Rheumatology, Textbook of Adolescent Gynecology and Dermoscopy in skin of color. She has also published several articles in peer-reviewed journals.
