Dr. Ravi Gupta is a leading cardiologist in India with over 35 years of experience, including 25 years in interventional cardiology. He has performed more than 10,000 coronary angioplasties, handling complex cases such as left main stenosis, CTOs, bifurcations, trifurcations, ROTA, IVL, CKD, high-risk surgical cases, and low ejection fraction conditions, achieving minimal complication rates.
He is highly skilled in peripheral interventions, having completed advanced training at Mount Sinai Hospital, New York, USA. Dr. Gupta has performed over 3,000 peripheral angioplasties, addressing conditions such as diabetic foot ulcers and erectile dysfunction.
Trained in Germany for TAVI (non-surgical aortic valve replacement), Dr. Gupta is proficient in procedures for device closures of congenital heart defects like ASD, VSD, PFO, and PDA, as well as in implanting pacemakers, AICDs, and CRT-Ds.
Dr. Gupta has numerous publications in national and international journals and was honored with the Rajasthan Gaurav Award in 2016. Outside medicine, he is a passionate musician and national-level painter. He has also authored a book on medical humor, MAD SCENE, published in 2003.
