Dr. Amit Vora is a consultant in the department of Cardiology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
He is a Consultant Cardiologist and Cardiac Electro physiologist. He specialises in the treatment of heart beat problems (called arrhythmias) and heart failure.
Dr. Vora has been Ex-Associate Professor, Department of Cardiology at KEM Hospital, Mumbai. He has vast experience in RF ablations and device implantations. He has implanted around 1000 ICD’s and 500 bi-ventricular pacemakers in India and also 2000 single chamber and 4000 dual-chamber permanent pacemakers.
Dr. Vora has won several academic honours notable among them being the first in MD (Internal Medicine), University of Mumbai and first in All-India Superspecialty entrance exam.
Dr. Amit Vora is the Vice-president of the India Society of Electro cardiology and also the Vice-president of the Indian Heart Rhythm Society. He is a member of the Association of Physicians of India and the Cardiological Society of India.
