Dr. Shweta Tyagi is a Consultant in the Emergency Department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital & Research Centre.
After completing MBBS, Dr. Tyagi pursued her Fellowship Training in Accident and Emergency Medicine at the Christian Medical College, Vellore.
She is a Member of Royal College of Emergency Medicine, UK, Fellow of Academic College of Emergency experts, India and a life member of Society of Emergency Medicine, India.
She is American Heart Association certified Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support Instructor and has to her credit several provider courses across Mumbai.
She is certified Paediatric Advanced Life Support and Advanced Trauma Life Support Provider as well.
She is the Author of the chapter ‘Assessment of Sexual Assault’, David Suresh S, 2016, Clinical Pathways in Emergency Medicine, Springer, 775-780 p.
Her clinical research includes a prospective study on 600 patients who presented to “Emergency” with acute chest pain, to determine the sensitivity and specificity of serial ECGs V/S Serial Cardiac Enzymes as diagnostic of acute coronary syndrome.
Dr. Tyagi has over 7 years of experience of working as an emergency physician and she feels emergency decision making is critical in deciding patient outcome hence right treatment to the right patient at the right time can save a life.
