Dr. Tapas Kumar Mandal is an Associate Consultant in the department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.

After completing MBBS, Dr. Mandal completed MD (Anaesthesia) at B.Y.L. Nair Hospital, Mumbai and Fellow of Royal College of Anaesthetists (FRCA) at London, UK.

Dr. Mandal has an experience of 5 years in the field of Anaesthesia and Pain Management. His clinical experience includes transplant anaesthesia (liver, pancreas, kidney, multivisceral), hepatopancreatobiliary anaesthesia, regional anaesthesia (for orthopaedics and plastic surgeries), obstetrics (high risk and labour analgesia) etc. Prior to his association with our hospital, he was a clinical fellow at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge University, UK. Earlier, he worked at East Sussex Hospitals NHS Trust, Hastings and Barnet Hospital, Royal Free Hospitals NHS Trust, London in UK. Prior to this, he also worked as a senior resident in the department of Anaesthesia at P. D. Hinduja Hospital, Mumbai.

Dr. Mandal has presented several research papers at various conferences. He has been actively involved in teaching activities, such as he regularly conducted teaching and journal club sessions in UK.
