Dr Hemal Shah is a Consultant Nephrologist with the nephrology department at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After completing his MD in Internal Medicine, Dr Shah pursued DNB (Nephrology) followed by MNAMS. He has done his Fellowship in Hemodialysis and Peritoneal Dialysis from University of Missouri, USA and in Nephrology and Transplant from University of Toronto, Canada.
Besides his association with our hospital, Dr Shah is Consultant Nephrologist at numerous other places including Saifee Hospital, Bhatia Hospital, Cumballa Hill Hospital, Conwest Jain Clinic, Dalvi Hospital and Parsi General Hospital. In the past, he has been a lecturer in the Department of Nephrology at KEM Hospital (2001-2003).
Dr Shah is the recipient of several prestigious awards including the Burges Khurshidji Award (1998), Young Consultants Award (2002) and Scholar of International Society of Nephrology (2003).
