Dr. Suresh Mehtalia is a Consultant Diabetologist in the department of Endocrinology at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
After completing MBBS and MD, Dr. Mehtalia pursued fellowship in diabetes at New York Medical College, New York and Joslin Clinic, Boston in USA. He also worked as an Instructor in the department of Medicine (Diabetes section) at University of Southern California, Los Angeles, USA.
Dr. Mehtalia has a rich experience of 50 years in the field of Diabetology. In addition to his association with our hospital, he is also a Consultant Diabetologist at Sir Kikabhai Premchand Heart Institute and Asian Heart Institute in Mumbai. Earlier he was a professor at Topiwala National Medical College & B.Y.L. Nair Hospital, Mumbai. He was also a Consultant Diabetologist at All India Institute of Diabetes and Research.
Dr. Mehtalia presented several research papers at national and international conferences and has published several peer-reviewed papers in national and international journals.
