Dr. Swati Daftary is a Senior Consultant in the Department of Anaesthesia and Pain Management at Sir H. N. Reliance Foundation Hospital and Research Centre.
Dr. Swati Daftary completed her MBBS from Seth GSMC & KEM Hospital, University of Bombay in 1981, followed by successful completion of DA in 1984 and MD in 1985.
She served at MCGM hospitals- KEM and Sion hospitals for 21 years.
As a recipient of the Hargobind Foundation Merit Scholarship-1998, she visited the Department of Anaesthesia, Division of Paediatric Anaesthesia at Stanford University School of Medicine, California, USA as Visiting Associate Professor for ‘Perioperative Care of Paediatric Patients in Anaesthesia’.
Dr Swati Daftary is a founder member of Indian Association of Paediatric Anaesthesiologists (IAPA) formed in 2006.
She is a Recognised Post-graduate teacher for DA & MD at University Of Bombay, MUHS and Diplomate of National Board (DNB) anaesthesia since June 1993.
Dr. Daftary has delivered "P Surendran oration" on 'What is new in Anaesthesia' at South Zone ISA 2010.
Dr. Daftary has authored many journal articles, book chapters and conference papers. As a subject expert, she has been a speaker and panellist at numerous conferences.
